A restaurant open in the evening in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue

When the tables in the centre close, Via Notte lights up. A music bar and Corsican table on esplanade Robert Vasse, open Tuesday to Saturday evening until 12:30 am: sharing boards, grills, cocktails made to order, live bands and DJ sets. The right address when you want to dine late and carry the night on.

Come nightfall

An address that lives at night

In L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, most kitchens close early. Via Notte takes over: people arrive for a drink, stay to dine, and the evening lingers to the beat of the music bar. The plate serves the atmosphere, not the other way around — it's a night out as much as a restaurant.

From Tuesday to Friday, the stage comes alive from 6 pm and the music carries the evening until 12:30 am; on Saturday the bar switches on in the evening after an all-day service. An afterwork that lingers, a group of friends, the urge to dine without watching the clock: the evening service is made for it.

At the table, late

Corsica on the plate, made to share

Start with a board — country charcuterie, maquis cheeses or mixed — then come the grills: rib steak served with homemade chips, grilled figatellu, trios of mini-burgers with lonzu and tomme. Homemade is a stance here, not a slogan.

Tapas to kick off the evening, salads to lighten things up, a plate of fresh fruit to round off: generous, fuss-free cooking, served as happily over drinks as in the middle of dinner. Most of what we serve comes from the island.

The address

On the esplanade, until 12:30 am

At 12 esplanade Robert Vasse, right in the centre of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, the terrace stays open until 11 pm and the evening runs on inside until 12:30 am, from Tuesday to Saturday. People come from all over the town, from the Luberon and from the Vaucluse — locals and passing visitors alike. Not to be confused with the club of the same name in Porto-Vecchio: this is the local music bar.

Frequently asked questions

Which evenings is Via Notte open?

Tuesday to Saturday. From Tuesday to Friday, opening is at 6 pm and the evening runs until 12:30 am; on Saturday the service is all-day from 10 am and the music bar takes over in the evening. On Sunday the venue closes at 5 pm, and it is closed on Monday.

How late can I dine and stay?

The terrace stays open until 11 pm. Inside, the evening runs until 12:30 am from Tuesday to Saturday — time for a last drink and the music.

Do I need to book to dine in the evening?

For a drink at the counter, no. For a table in the evening or on the terrace, especially on a live night, booking is recommended. It takes seconds online, or a quick phone call.

Is there music during the evening service?

Yes, it's the house signature. From Tuesday to Friday evening, bands take the stage; on Friday the DJ takes over. Live music all year round, right through dinner and after.

Can I just have a drink without dining?

Of course. Via Notte is as much a music bar as a table: come for a cocktail and the atmosphere, nibble on tapas or a board, or settle in for a real Corsican meal. Everyone builds their own evening.

Can the place be privatised for an evening?

Yes. Via Notte hosts birthdays, stag and hen parties and corporate evenings. Describe your event through the private-events form and the team will get back to you.
